However, it is more important that you do not fill your skip with hazardous waste and dangerous materials, such as batteries, solvents or white goods containing ozone (fridges). These will need to be dealt with separately.

It can pollute the airspace, nearby bodies of water and inflict harm on local wildlife. If flammable, it can cause fires and release further greenhouse emissions. Never dispose of hazardous materials yourself. Always go to a certified waste handler.
